How to setup a SATLINK WS-6909 DVB-T&S Combo Meter

DVB-T

To configure DVB-T - set country to England in the Settings menu (otherwise frequencies are off by 0.250)

For quick tuning - Enter Quick Search

  • Country: England
  • Channel CH-32 (32 or 33)
  • Frequency: 562.000 MHz or 570.000 MHz
  • Bandwidth: 8 MHz
  • Antenna Power: OFF (unless you have a Mast Head Amplifier that needs to be powered)
  • Antenna Power: 5V / 15V / 24V (only an issue if you have a Mast Head Amplifier and the power injector is not in place)

DVB-S

To configure DVB-S - in TP Manager, remove all pre-configured satellites (unless your configuring them :) )

  • Add new Satellite - 'E 160.0 Optus D1'

Navigate down and add two Frequencies (the Phase setting will change when your tuning later)

  • No: 001, Freq: 12456, SR: 22500
  • No: 002, Freq: 12483, SR: 22500

Sat Manager - leave Switch Type as 'None'

Quick Search

  • Satellite Name: Optus D1
  • LNB Type: Normal Ku
  • LNB Low Freq : 10750 or 11300 (depending on whats on your dish)
  • LNB High Freq : ----
  • TP Num : 0001 (selectable based upon the settings in the sat manager)
  • Frequency : 12456 (this will change when you change the TP)
  • Symbol Rate: 22500
  • Polarity : H
  • LNB Power: 13/18V (if connected straight to the LNB, OFF if behind another device)
  • 22K Tone : OFF
  • Sat Longitude 160.0 E
