2011

2011 was my first 'animated show', previously I had around 4k of led lights that were just plugged in.

The plan was 

Software to control the show - Vixen Lights (free) www.vixenlights.com/

• 10 x Green - 78mA (100 string)
• 10 x Red - 142mA (100 string)
• 10 x Blue - 87mA (100 string)
• 50 x White - 90mA (100 string)
• 1 x Red, Green, Blue, White string = 0.26A
• 20m White Rope Light - 0.38A - can be cut every 220-230mm

• 400 DMX controlled channels,

sequenced using Vixen lights 2.5.0.8 + Ultra DMX dongle. (DMX over cat5 cable + DMX signal amplifier/splitter)
